The invention relates to a device for pressing a skirting line covering a joint between a floor covering and a wall to the wall with a pressure head resting against the skirting board and a supporting foot supported on the floor covering for the printing head. For this purpose, it is known (WO 2015/101749 A1) to use a device having a the front side of the floor covering comprehensive, extending transversely to the wall rack, along which is displaceable to the baseboard printhead is displaced. The printhead is for this purpose provided with a support foot, which receives the rack in the manner of a simple ratchet mechanism with a resilient tongue as a pawl, so that the support foot along the toothbrush can only be displaced in the direction of the wall, but not in opposite directions. For this purpose, the clamping lever is provided with a weight, which can accommodate different objects for weight load. Particularly simple construction conditions arise when the bottom-side friction surface is in the form of a cylindrical rolling surface, because in this case, the cylindrical rolling surface forms the pivot bearing, so that it requires no articulation of the support foot on the clamping lever to form a pivot bearing. In order to achieve on the side of the skirting a good, slippery system of the clamping lever on the skirting, the clamping lever on the skirting-facing side of the print head may also have a cylindrical surface forming Reibflä surface.
